Germany's Inflation

Baden-Wuerttemberg Sep. CPI +0.1% m/m with the annual rate accelerating to 2.5% from 2.0% in August. The results so far make clear that German preliminary national CPI will rise more strongly than expected. It is also possible that eurozone HICP inflation could climb above the 2.1% median forecast in September and up from 1.7% in August. September would be the first time in 13 months that the EMU-13 result was at 2% or more, which will keep the ECB wary.
